This space, offered twice monthly, is for both the student who has his or her Energetic Boundaries tools (completed class) AND those who are ready to get their energetic tools. If you have completed the EB class, you will spend this time--guided by Rev. DebraRae--in your space, running your energy, working various energetic dynamics in your space, cleaning out, filling in, doing mock-ups and trading healings. Cost is $10. If you are attending these sessions to learn EB, you will spend the first six weeks learning various energetic tools and practice using them. Cost for the first six weeks (once a week) is $25 per class session. If you choose to attend a second class in the same week during the first six weeks, cost is $15. To complete the EB class requires a once-a-week, six week commitment. After the first six weeks, you may attend the Student Space, which is provided for the purposes outlined above, for $10 per session. This is a hands-on class to get you started making raw foods at home. Each week, weâll learn new skills by working together to make simple healthy dishes that taste good. Emphasis will be on transferable techniques and creative thinking that give you the adaptability to make your own Raw Creations. At the end of each class, there will be time to share questions and ideas as we enjoy the food we made together.

Our next workshop will be: April 22, 2010 6:00pm-7:00pm April is Child Abuse Awareness Month and we want to provide parents, grandparents, neighbors, professionals and other caregivers an understanding of abuse, the impacts of abuse, and learn concrete tools not only to identify and respond to child abuse but also prevent abuse from happening in your home. Child abuse continues to occur at staggering rates with more and more children and families being impacted every day. This 1-hour workshop will explore 7 tools to understand and help prevent child abuse from happening in the first place. Here are some of the tools that individuals will leave with: Identifying signs of abuse (sexual, physical, emotional, and neglect). Relationship and communication with children Prevention strategies Touching rule How to respond to a disclosure How to report child abuse Education/resources The suggestion donation for attendees is $10. This space, offered twice monthly, is for both the student who has his or her Energetic Boundaries tools (completed class) AND those who are ready to get their energetic tools. If you have completed the EB class, you will spend this time--guided by Rev. DebraRae--in your space, running your energy, working various energetic dynamics in your space, cleaning out, filling in, doing mock-ups and trading healings. Cost is $10. If you are attending these sessions to learn EB, you will spend the first six weeks learning various energetic tools and practice using them. Cost for the first six weeks (once a week) is $25 per class session. If you choose to attend a second class in the same week during the first six weeks, cost is $15. To complete the EB class requires a once-a-week, six week commitment. After the first six weeks, you may attend the Student Space, which is provided for the purposes outlined above, for $10 per session. Thursday, April 22 (Earth Day!) at 7:00 PM Poets of all ages are welcome! What exactly is a poetry bump? Well, it's like a slam only not as slam-my... It's the competitive art of performance poetry; it puts a dual emphasis on writing and performance, encouraging poets to focus on what they're saying and how they're saying it. Poets will perform their work and then be judged by members of the audience. Rules: 1. Each poem must be of the poet's own construction and MUST incorporate in word or concept "GREEN" - whatever that looks like to you (earth, environment, grass, money, etc.). 2. Each poet gets three minutes to read their poem. If you go over three minutes - it's hookville. 3. The poet may not use props, costumes or musical instruments - that means no flaming batons or dancing poodles. 4. Poets - bring your friends and family members because... 5. ...if you show up to just "watch" the Bump or cheer cousin Eddie on and get a sudden and inexplicable urge to jot down a poem on your iPhone, pant-leg, or the arm of the person sitting next to you (with their permission of course) - YAY! - you get to read, too! Everyone is encouraged and eligible to participate! There will be prizes awarded - not a trip to Bora Bora or a brand new washer and dryer, but they'll be good - promise. We have appreciated the opportunity to host these gatherings these past several months, and we wish the tribe great fulfillment in the new expanded location. Australian interfaith minister and recording artist Phil Jones will lead a meditation and breathing techniques with the Australian didgeridoo. The didgeridoo is an ancient mesmerizing drone instrument made from a eucalyptus tree and traditionally played in ceremony by the Aboriginal clans of Australia. Playing the didgeridoo creates soothing and resonant harmonics that easily erase the the 'monkey chatter' in the mind - enhancing mental clarity and emotional equanimity. The primordial vibration of the didgeridoo and the simple breathing techniques help create a state of relaxation, lower blood pressure, and relax the heart. MOVEMENT: Our format is designed to somatically integrate this week's message into your body! Music is channeled by DJ Brett Starr & Movement is led by Valency Gorman. David Brussel has been part of Denver's musical community since he joined the Colorado Symphony horn section in 1982. He is also active as a pianist and conductor, and he appears with a number of local ensembles including the Boulder Brass, the Denver Municipal Band, and the educational ensemble Up Close and Musical. He is the Music Director of the Broomfield Civic Orchestra, the Front Range Chamber Players of Fort Collins, and "Melomania," a group of musical medical professionals and students at University Hospital.
